This is an extremely special rifle. It's genuinely one of the most beautiful Model 70s ever made. It never fails for wow anyone who sees it. This rifle was one from a special collaboration done with Midway USA in 2014. These were the first ever made in 280 Remington. But more than that, this particular rifle was shipped to the US Olympic Rifle Team in Colorado (shipping label still on the box to prove it). There, Lones Wigger (google him) wrote a note on the box instructing that it be held for fundraising. 

Unfortunately, this rifle was not a great shooter out of the box. Winchester being Winchester, the forend made hard contact with the barrel, causing accuracy issues. To solve this, Lynn Ryle of L&L Gunsmithing properly inlet the stock for the receiver and also bed the action (epoxy and pillars). Finally, he thread the barrel to 9/16x24 since the barrel was too thin to support 5/8. But then he rocksett a 5/8 adapter so I could use my suppressor.

Rifle has been hunted with an there are a few very minor dings. 

This rifle shoots .6moa with Nosler 140gr Ballistic tip (100 yards five shot group. 

Included with purchase is eight full boxes of Nosler 140gr Ballistic tip. Also comes with Talley High rings that allow clearance of a 56mm objective lens. 

The case shown in the picture is NOT included. Only there to keep it off the metal of my truck bed.
