This firearm is a Remington Versa Max chambered in 12 gauge. The firearm features a 28" barrel that is cut for a 3 1/2" chamber and REM-CHOKE style of chokes. This system, the VersaPort gas regulation system,  self-regulates gas pressure based on shell length, allowing it to reliably cycle 2 3/4", 3", and 3 1/2" shells by allowing gas tapped from the barrel to push the dual piston system which in turn cycles the action. The vent holes are drilled in a way where longer shells cover more ports and shorter shells allowing more ports to be filled with expanding gas, giving it the "auto-regulation" capability. The firearm is used and does not have a box or any other chokes accompanying the weapon, but condition is solid. Slight wear is found along the barrel and the trigger guard, where finish has been lifted. Get yours today!
