Practical Tactical is an accredited firearms academy. Permits are issued by your local Sheriff after taking the mandatory class (That's the part we do) and presenting them with your certification. We are NOT a FFL and we do not transact in controlled items (guns). Our office is open by appointment only. A CCW class does have a live fire component in which you fire 40+ rounds into B-27 targets at 7 yards. We have yet to see anyone fail the live fire portion of the class so even if you have no experience, don't let that hold you back. We highly encourage attending with your spouse especially if traveling.
