The Daniel Defense Omega Rail is a 2 piece free float rail system is Daniel Defense's most popular rail system. The Omega Rail is easy to install with the provided allen wrench and does not require any modification to the weapon. The Omega Rail features limited rotation QD sling swivel mounts and has an uninterrupted upper rail so optics can be mounted further forward than with standard rails. The exceptional strength-to-weight ratio makes the Omega Rail the perfect selection foran AR-15 style weapon. All Daniel Defense Rail Systems are built to the 1913 Military Specification and are 100% Quality Assurance checked for conformity to the specification. The Omega Rail comes standard with three santoprene black ladders to protect the 1913 rails as well as the shooters hand from up to 350 degrees of heat.
The Omega Rail 7.0 is designed to work with carbine-length AR-15 gas systems and its exceptionally light weight makes it perfect for short rifles where size and weight are crucial performance attributes.
