This striker fired H9 is chambered in 9mm at a weight of 34 oz. The magazine capacity sports 15 rounds. The weight of the H9 places it within the same category as traditional full size aluminum frame handguns, making it handle like its larger counterparts. The H9 accomplished a lighter weight all steel construction through the insert and grip construction (traditionally called a frame) and the redistribution of the surface area of the pistol itself. Traditional all-steel pistols are usually heavier than their aluminum counterpart most commonly the 1911 (43 oz.)
