Japanese Type 14 8mm Nambu with Late Model Canvas Holster

Pistol and bore are in good condition.

The Holster is a Late Model Rubberized Canvas Holster, there is a Manufacturer Stamp under the lid

 Kanji is unknown research appears  the top one is Whisteria, and the lower is either 15 or 5   middle one is to worn

Could not find any Unit Info

 

The Pistol  is a late model Type 14

 made in Dec of 1944

Nagoya Arsenal  Toriimatsu Second Series or "B" Series pistol

This one is twords the end of the run which ended about S/N 73k

 

The Nambu needs a Firing Pin ( Striker ), the Firing Pin/Striker Spring, and of course the Safety Lever
