This Remington Double Derringer type model 95 third model, made 1888 to 1910 derringer 2 shot over under is chambered in .41 Rimfire and features a factory 3-inch over-under barrel configuration. The derringer retains a bright chrome or polished nickel finish, likely a period or later refinish, as the lettering is slightly softened. The black hard rubber grips are checkered and remain free of cracks or damage. The hinge area may have a crack which is very common among these derringers. It is difficult to confirm due to the reflective plating. The area appears solid, mechanically, the derringer has a tight hinge, the barrel latch locks securely, and the spur trigger operates; however, the firing pin does not reliably rotate to the next barrel as designed. The manual ejector is missing, as is common on many examples. The bores show moderate pitting from age and use. Overall a very nice collectors piece, that is over 100 years old. They are not making them any more, so you have to wait for someone else to sell theirs. Here is your chance.
