This firearm is a Winchester model 9422M XTR chambered in .22 Magnum. The firearm features a 20" barrel and an 11rd tube capacity, along with the high-polish blued finish and checkered stocks found on the XTR models. The 9422M was produced from 1972-2005, with a couple of noteable production changes throughout the years. This particular gun is believed to be a 1998 production from sources online, but it most definitely 1988 or newer due to the satin "weather resistant" finish on the walnut stock and forend. The rifling in the barrel is pristine and the blueing is completely intact, with the stock only having 1 or 2 minor bumps from sitting in a display rack for its life. The rifle was previously owned by a serious collector who kept it in a climate controlled area hung on a display rack and rarely ever shot his pieces.
