Rifle comes with a full box of Buffalo Bore ammunition. 18 rounds of 270 grain "supercharged" solid copper flat-nose solids. These are, from what I understand, specifically for the largest game on earth. They're designed to penetrate several feet of HEAVY bone and muscle, so think 'cape buffalo' and not 'white-tailed deer' or 'black bear'.
It also comes with factory box and owner's manual, and an Allen cartridge holder for the stock, and an Allen padded, shoulder sling that also holds a few cartridges. I had hoped to use the rifle to hunt with one day, so I bought those for ease of carrying the rifle and spare ammo, but I've owned it for several years now and its never even been outside in direct sunlight, much less, toted around the woods. It has lived in my safe since the day it was taken out of its box.
For full disclosure to anyone wanting this rifle for collection purposes or who demand truly 'MINT CONDITION', this rifle has one small scratch on the barrel about two inches long, slightly back from the front sight. I picked it up by the barrel one day, years ago, lost my grip, and when it slipped, my wedding ring scratched the blued finish. No, I will not discount the gun for said blemish. I am firm on the price.
An FFL transfer is required. The buyer is always expected to cover the transfer fee. I use either Hickory Pawn and Gun in Hickory, who charge $25 or Highlander Armory in Newton, who charge $20 and I'm fine meeting at whichever location is more convenient for the buyer.
