The Bravo Company Polished Nickel Teflon (PNT) Trigger and Hammer are precision machined from AISI8620 casting per the USGI Mil-Spec standards for the M16/M4 family of weapons. The trigger and hammer go through a 3 step heat treat and case hardening process for optimal grain structure alignment which results in a stronger and more wear resistance product. The sear engagement surfaces of the trigger are ground and hand polished for an increased smoothness and friction reduction of up to 300% beyond the Mil-Spec standard. An electroless nickel finish is applied for a smoother trigger pull with less 'grit' and reduced felt 'creep'. Nickel also provides a long lasting finish that will not corrode, rust, or discolor due to oxidation. Teflon particles are embedded in the nickel on both the trigger and hammer to further reduce friction and ensuring a long lasting coating. The assembly is machined to superior tolerances to ensure compatibility with all MIL SPEC lower receivers.
