Remington mdoel 1917 US issed GI Infantry rifle, in great condition. This rifle likely served in both World War I and II, which was later replaced by the model 1903. I think the 1917 is a better rifle personally, it has a pistol grip type stock and guarded front sight. Overall this is a nice rifle, it does have signs of use, wear and tear. If you thinking about getting one of these, you might want to sooner than later, most were make 70 to 100 years ago, and they are not making any more.
