AR-15M5 "CO COWBOY'S SPECIAL #4" SIDE-CHARGING .350 LEGEND RIFLE
JSA FIREARMS, located in "Colorado's Cowboy Country," presents a NEW, AR-15M5 CUSTOM SIDE-CHARGING RIFLE that shoots the venerable .350 Legend caliber, with repeated high-end accuracy and power. The .350 Legend round is generally available in full-metal (i.e., copper) jacketed "ball" (i.e., military specification) rounds that suffice for target shooting and plinking, as well as copper-jacketed hollow-point rounds that are very effective for hunting in thick woodland environments, self-defense and close quarter combat situations. Medium-felt recoil, good accuracy, good knock-down power, more velocity compared with the legendary .30-.30 Winchester Center Fire (i.e., .30-30 WCF) ammo, and relatively affordable price compared to similar AR-15 ammo (e.g., 5.56x45, .223 Remington, 300 Blackout, 450 Bushmaster, etc.), are some of the advantages of the .350 LEGEND round, when compared to other cartridges that are fired from an AR-15 platform. Hence, I call this AR-15M5 "THE COLORADO COWBOY'S SPECIAL(c),#4" SIDE-CHARGING .350 LEGEND RIFLE" and this is one of my favorite set-ups of all of the AR-15 type rifles especially for hunting Trophy Rocky Mountain Mule Deer and Elk, as well as feeding and defending my family!
The Lower Receiver Assembly is the Model AM-15, manufactured by Anderson Manufacturing in Kentucky or the Tennessee Arms Company TNARMS-15 olive drab polymer lower receiver (pictured). The Anderson Manufacturing Lower Parts Kit utilizes the Mil-Spec factory springs, detents, takedown and pivot pins, and other components. The "Optional" Stainless Steel Hammer and Trigger from Anderson Manufacturing are featured in this lower receiver in order to provide a smooth, chrisp trigger pull, a definite improvement over the standard Fire Control Group! The Mil-Spec M-4 5-position adjustable butt-stock provides a steady shoulder support for this rifle, thus accentuating the shooter's accuracy. The adjustable M-4 stock provides comfortable transport with the advantage of adjusting the length of pull for the shooter. The Bear Creek Arsenal Upper Receiver Assembly includes the following features: * a 7075 Aircraft Grade, billet aluminum upper receiver; *a 18" long, 4150 Chrome Vanadium, Parkerized, Heavy Barrel in .350 Legend caliber; *a 1:10 Twist Bore; *a Carbine Length Gas System; *a 15" M-Lok Rail- Hand Guard; *a Side Charging Handle on the Bolt Carrier Group assembly, which is specifically built with a heavy duty firing pin and extractor; and *Lifetime Warranty. The Side Charging Handle has the advantages of comfortable ergonomics, as well as ease of use with receiver mounted scopes, compared to the standard rear charging handle set-up. The high-quality AR-15 Bolt Carrier Group comes with enhanced firing pins and upgraded extractors for increased reliability and durability. The M-LOK hand guard has four (4) attachment holes (one at the rear and one at the front on the opposite sides of the hand guard) for Quick-Detach sling mounts, which are very convenient for carrying and/or stablizing for shooting.
