The Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 Upper Receiver Group is built around a 16" cold hammer-forged government-profile barrel and a Daniel Defense flash suppressor to reduce flash signature. It uses a mid-length gas system for smoother cycling and reduced wear. A free-floating MFR 15.0 handguard saves weight and adds cooling, ergonomics, and modularity. Sights are sold separately. Made in the USA.
M-LOK attachment points run along 7 positions, with an uninterrupted 1913 Picatinny rail on top for sights, optics, and accessories. An independently ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle works for left- and right-handed shooters. The upper is mil-spec 7075-T6 aluminum with indexing marks and M4 feed ramps. The barrel is chrome moly vanadium, 1:7 twist, chrome-lined, mil-spec heavy phosphate coated, and HP/MPI tested. The complete upper includes an M16-profile bolt carrier group and a Daniel Defense vertical grip.
