Neat still working Butler Assocaites Inc .22 Short single shot Derringer pistol. Western type pistols were very popular during the rise of the Western movies from the late 1950's through the 1970's. Butler Assocaites Inc who later around 1969 because Butler Manufacturing made some runs of these pistols. This one was made prior to the 1968 gun control act without a serial number, later production had serial numbers and early 1970s production that they made for Colt firearms also had the serial number “D” prefix. Overall the pistol is in good condition and shows signs of wear and tear from age and use. Interesting piece of history and a great collector pistol for those who already have the Colt branded models.
