The left of the receiver is marked "Remington / REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. / 741263". The left side of the barrel is marked "12 GA. FOR 2 3/4 OR SHORTER SHELLS". Engraved pheasant on the right side of the receiver and engraved duck on the left side of the receiver.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a metal bead fixed to a base fixed to the front of the barrel. The top of the receiver is serrated for glare.
