This is a FN Supreme Mauser, made in 1961. This was commercialy produced by FN in Belguim, not a sporterized military rifle. 


Has typical commerial proofs throughout. Matching serial numbers on receiver, barrel, and bolt. Ramped blade front side, no iron sight on rear but does have the base for a Lyman sight. Original blued finish is very good overall, original oiled wood stock has some finish wear as well as a few minor scrapes. Checkering on wrist and forarms are in good shape, and has capped plastic pistol grip. Added rubber recoil pad and wider trigger shoe. Has a J. Unertl Hawk scope, fixed 4x power. scope had good glass and clear. Scope has some finish wear, especially under leather dust covers. Bore is shiny with sharp rifling. Gun operates as it should and is a joy to shoot.
