1943 National Postal Meter M1 carbine. This was an early model with the flat bolt. Receiver says National Postal Meter. Barrel is marked Buffallo Arms 6-43 and Muzzle wear gauge show .15. It has a bayonet mount. Rotating safety, flip style rear sight. It has an Inland stock with Springfield Armory Arsenal marks. It is in very good mechanical condition. I have tried to picture all the markings I could find. I cannot get the barrel manufacturer to come out in a picture. It comes with one magazine Marked K.I. It is a 15 round.
