AGUIRRE & ARANZABAL Model XXV .20 ga. double (side-by-side) in excellent condition.    This gun lists at $6750 in the 2023 Shooters' Bible, but I want it to go to someone who will appreciate it.  Hand detachable sidelock, 2 3/4 ch. 25" premium steel bbls with Churchill tapered top rib.  Choked IC/IM.  Nicely figured straight stock w/AyA best quality oil finish that is nicely hand-checkered; Wt. 5 lbs, 14 oz.  Classic ribbon & scroll hand done engraving pattern.  Case-hardened action finish.  Single non-selective trigger. This sweet little AyA is a perfect quail, woodcock, or grouse gun for the upland hunter who wants a quick handling, lightweight double. 


I ordered & purcased from Chris Potter Guns in Kent, England, Sept. 1986 (requiring the intervention of MO. Sen. Danforth to get through U.S. Customs).  Used as a Missouri quail gun for approximately 10 years, but very well cared for.  This gun comes with all papers from AyA and the original merchandiser, and is in a quality fitted case (Canadian National).  The value of the gun has increased in value significantly since its purchase and thus makes a good investment as well as outstanding "shooter".


I am 86, no longer hunt, have no dogs, and there aren't many quail left in my area.   I'm offering it below value because I have no heirs, and know there is a limited market for this type of classic firearm.  I don't need to sell it but I would like to see this personal "treasure" go to a hunter who will use and care for it.  I have and can provide additional photos and am willing to discuss further details of the gun on the phone to serious buyers.
