Sights / Optics: The front sight is a fixed blade attached to the barrel. The rear sight is square notch and groove integral to the top strap.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are one piece checkered camo polymer with smooth borders & H&R Logo. The grips show light handling and storage marks.  These H&R grips fit the frame well. The checkering is well defined.   The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is light erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, this bore rates a 10 out of 10.

Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light wear from handling and storage.  The screw heads are sharp. The pins are unmarred. The markings are clear.  Overall, this revolver rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action function correctly in both SA & DA. There is a litle play in the cylinder when the triger is depressed.  We test fired the gun and it functions as designed. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

This example is a Model 929 Sidekick 2nd Model  with transffer bar ingnition &  4' Barrel.  Made by Harrington & Richardson from 1974 to 1986. This 9-shot Single / Double action revolver is chambered for .22 LR and is in Excellent overall condition. This is a classic piece of Americana from the mid-20th century you do not want to miss out on!
