Sights / Optics: The front sight is a shallow fixed blade that is integral to the slide, the rear sight is a square notch that is integral to the slide. The front and rear sight sit in a shallow channel that runs the length of the slide.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The polymer grip is integral to the frame, the front strap and back strap are serrated. The grip and frame show a couple of light handling marks. The grip and frame rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is some light fouling in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, this bore rates a 9.5 out of 10.

Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its metal finish. The metal shows a couple of light handling marks.The pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions Correctly. We did not fire this firearm. We have cleaned this firearm and performed a mechanic's check but expect many will want to clean the firearm again depending on their standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This handgun includes  Original S&W box, punch tool, manual and one 6 round magazine. 

Our Assessment: The Smith & Wesson SW series (more commonly referred to as the S&W Sigma) was Smith & Wesson's first venture into using synthetic materials in pistol construction, using high-strength polymer material for the frame. The pistol is similar to a Glock safe-action pistol in both its design and operation. The Sigma line was replaced by the similar but substantially improved Smith & Wesson SD series in 2010. This example is a Model SW380 striker fired semi auto pistol chambered for .380 Auto. It includes Original factory box and one magazine punch tool, lock & manual. This S&W pistol is in Superb condition, showing little use. It has a bright bore with sharp rifling and strong mechanics. This handgun is very light and compact, with a polymer frame and alloy slide, making it ideal for concealed carry. Please see our photos.
