This is a 1970 left hand Remington 788 bolt action rifle in .308. A rare find. It is in Excellent condition and comes with 3 original Remington magazines (also hard to find), the original Remington wide leather sling (even harder to find), and the Bushnell ScopeChief V 4X scope it came with. All in great shape. The stock has been refinished and glass bedded. A Timney trigger has also been installed and I have the original trigger. Most all references you will find regarding this rifle exclaim its superiority to its replacement, the Remington 700. I have over $1,100 invested. I will trade for a really nice 1966 Dodge Coronet front bumper, or 1966/1967 Dodge Charger front bumper. Only Firearm trades might be a Colt 1917 New Service revolver in 45LC or a nice base AR-15 in 5.56. Cash is always king. I can add cash if needed.
