The CZ-52 was manufactured about 1952-1954, a relatively very short run for a military side arm. It utilizes the roller locking system similar to WWII German MG42 machine gun and roller delay of the H&K assault rifles and submachine guns. This pistol is chambered in the 7.62x25mm caliber, basically an AK round shorten. These rounds are know to be super hot with some ammo obtain velocity speeds close to 1600 fps. This pistol is in very good condition overall, it does have signs of use, wear and tear, finish loss and a ding on the left of the rear sight. It is definitely a very unique pistol and with its short production time a real collectable, so much so the ATF has considered this pistol an C&R. As classified a C&R if you have your $30 license, this pistol can ship directly to you, without paying a local gun shop or pawn shop a transfer fee. In the state of California, although this pistol is not on the approved list of handgun, since it is a C&R it can be shipped in to the state.
