ADDITIONAL DESC: A good condition, fast handling and shooting big game rifle. The forend has been replaced with a Boyd's walnut forend. The butt plate is alunimum and most of the original finish has worn away. The 740 rifle series were made between 1955 and 1959. This rifle wears a "EF" date code, for a Oct 1959 date of manufacture. The Leupold scope has medium fine duplex crosshairs. Sorry, but we do not have the factory box, paper work, ammunition, spent brass, reloading dies, cleaning kit, or any other tools or accessories for the rifle. While the rifle has been cleaned, lubed and inspected by our gunsmith, it has not been test fired. This rifle will be shipped to the lower 48 for $35.

Local pickup customers will not be required to pay shipping, but will be required to pay Arizona state sales tax 6.5% and to pass the Federal Government required back ground check.
