"VERY SCARCE MODEL"Vintage Smith & Wesson 1950 45 Cal Target Model (LIGHT BARREL), DA/SA 6 shot 45 ACP, "Pre-Model 26", DOM 1953, 5 screw frame, 6 1/2 in. ribbed and pinned barrel, micrometer click rear sight and Patridge front sight, .650 in. semi-target case color hammer and .265 in. case color grooved trigger with magna-type checkered diamond walnut grips, tight lockup and shiny bore with perfect timing, ~80% ORIGINAL FINISH with some bluing loss around the muzzle, trigger guard and the sharp edges. Comes with an early vintage rosewood presentation box. Less than 2768 were sold between 1950 and 1957 making it a very rare collectable revolver. This revolver would later become the "Model 26" in 1957.
