Buy most all dates on parts of the gun this is a 1943 era rifle with bayonet this gun is asss is I HAVE NEVER FIRED THIS GUN. i was told it was found next to a soldier in the field so it has some water log on the stock. the only marking left is the p in circle on the grip of the stock
