The BYF 1943 Mauser P38 is a historical firearm that played a significant role during World War II. Produced in 1943 by Mauser Werke, this German semi-automatic pisto 9 mm caliber and lt was widely used by the German military and law enforcement agencies. It features a 4.9-inch barrel, a steel frame, and a sleek design. The P38 was the first locked-breech pistol to use a double -action/single action (DA/SA) trigger. The P38 was known for its reliability and accuracy, making it a favorite among soldiers. Its innovative double-action trigger allowed for rapid follow-up shots, while its eight-round magazine provided ample firepower. The BYF 1943 Mauser P38 features a 5" locked breach barrel, DA/SA, teel frame, fixed sights, manual safety/decocker, dulled blue finish, a single stack 8 round magazine, and a leather holster.The Wehrmacht 135 and Waffenant proofs are present and visible on the right side of the slide, The pistol does not have any rusting or pitting on the metal parts. The grips are original WWII and it does not have any cracks or chips.The barrel and bore are clean and the rifling in the barrel is sharp. We will only ship it to an FFL dealer.
