New to precision rifle? Don't know MOA from Mil? I've helped a lot of students w their goals, whatever they be. Whether it be merely hitting a 1000 yard or 1 mile (1770 yard) target once or throughly understanding the science behind it, or both. I send students home w a new understanding and often times videos of them hitting  "milestone" targets. I teach groups and individuals. 

Depending on the students goals and schedule I teach at several locations including Rio Salado Sportsmans club (pistol bay, high power), Archangel Companies (far west Maricopa) Ted's shooting range and or Queen Valley when open. I have comercial agreements w these ranges and am insured accordingly. 

I am equipped w numerous steel targets, spotting scopes, range finders, targets stands, custom long range prep paper targets,  Longshot target cameras, drone, the newest Garmin chrono and others tools to help my students.  

While I specialize in precision long range I also teach tactical carbine (AR-15), tactical shotgun,  and pistol courses including those that qualify for AZ ccw training. I am an NRA LE pistol and precision rifle instructor. Former AZ Post pistol, shotgun, carbine, defensive tactics and physical fitness instructor. I am authorized to conduct LEOSA /HR 218 quals and unarmed and armed sec guard courses. 

Upon request I've also taught reloading lessons, from basic setup to precision ammunition protocols. 

Recently I've been involved w instructing church security teams handgun marksmenship and shooting from concealment. If I can help your team don't hesitate to reach out. 


Students often inquire about equipment for precision shooting. 308 and 6.5cm are great calibers to start your long range adventure with. Being capable of long range shots often means your short range game is dialed in. This is what the first lesson is often about.  This means quality ammo. While I'll teach students w most any equipment my guidance on ammo (match quality) and gun gear (quality) is aimed at making you successful. 

I've taught brand new shooters to very experienced police snipers and many in between. While experienced I am never too old to learn myself, and always looking to learn. I've helped many students select rifles, scopes and ammo prior to their first session. 

I charge $250 per person for 4 hours, not including range fees. $300 if going to archangel (it's a drive, but the only place to shoot past 2000 yards).
