ADDITIONAL DESC: A good condition, basic .22 tube fed target and hunting rifle. Very good bore, chamber and muzzle crown. Our reserarch indicates that the later production Marlin model 81 rifles (1960 to 1965, more or less) had the Micro Groove rifling, like this rifle. The bolt is a little stiff to cycle, but the rifle cycled the dummy rounds just fine. The bluing is fading a little bit, but the stock doesn't show the the rifle was ever carried in the field or abused. The receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope mount and rear peep sight. Sorry, but we have neither the sight nor the sfcope base in stock at this time. Please refer to the appropriate photos.  Sorry, but we do not have the factory box, paper work, sling, ammunition, spent brass, reloading dies, cleaning kit, or any other tools or accessories for the rifle. While the rifle has been cleaned, lubed and inspected by our gunsmith, it has not been test fired. This rifle will be shipped to the lower 48 for $35. We decline to ship directly to C&R holders.
