Manufactured and built by 7.62mm Industries in Medena, OH. on one of their forged receivers.  Only a few hundred rifles were built by 7.62 before closing, making this a somewhat unique item.  This rifle is brand new and unfired from the factory and has been sitting in my safe since purchase in 2012!
The rifle was built using mostly USGI parts, with the trigger assy and op-rod manufactured by 7.62.  The barrel is Springfield Armory, bolt is TRW, the stock is a very handsom USGI walnut with padded buttplate instead of the standard metal.  Headspace is set to allow using NATO ammo or .308 Winchester.
Comes with a magazine and gas tube wrench.

Note that the model contains the letters "NM", but this rifle is not a national match grade rifle. It has standard GI sights, barrel, etc. I had one fellow gripe about this and gave me a hard time like I was trying to misrepresent what this rifle is. It's just the model number as produced by 7.62mm Industries.
