Fine scroll engraving on side plates, receiver, trigger guard, etc.
'Splinter' fore-end with a very slight schnabel-like knob at the front end.
Shows normal handling marks, with a light scrape on the left side of the left barrel.
Serial Number 87xxx indicates manufacture prior to 1900.
