Remington 760 Gamemaster chambered in 30-06. Made in 1953. Only the second year made. Serial number is only 4 digits. This rifle is showing where and the forearm has a piece missing underneath and a visible crack. Despite this it still feels solid and over all it's in great condition for its age. This one has history in the woods for sure! I'd love to know how many deer it's taken, the events it has seen, the history. As you can see in the pictures it was drilled and tapped for a side mount scope and may be its only real detractor. I found no rust or pitting but there are scuffs and small scratches in the metal the stock has marks but nothing too serious and no cracks. Forearms are easy to come by and can be replaced.
This rifle is negotiable within reason, 760's are still highly desired and if we held out we could get even more for it in the future. Act now, be reasonable and let's make a deal.
