For sale is this beautiful and very rare H. Koon Omega III chambered in .270 Win.
I would rate the condition around 99%.
Very clean and appears to have never been loaded / fired
Serial #561 of 1000.
Bluing is gorgeous.
Wood is in excellent condition and stunning.

Octagon shaped receiver with jeweled and fluted "Square"bolt, internal rotary magazine, factory drilled and tapped on top of the receiver for mounting. 
Has a Weaver V7 scope mounted -may be factory original because Homer Koon used this scope alot.


Designed and manufactured by the original Omega Arms company of Flower Mound, Texas sometime between 1969 & 1970
(it’s not one of the Hi-Shear produced rifles made differently in CA – it’s the real deal).
Its unique design features a fixed rotary magazine, fully adjustable trigger, both a trigger and bolt safety, octagonal receiver, a square locking lug configuration that provides much more locking mass while enabling a 45 degree bolt lift (shortest turn-bolt lift ever) and the octagon bolt body makes for an incredibly well guided and blindingly fast throw. It was designed by company founder Homer Koon who is well known for other highly innovative firearms designs as well.

This is truley a mint collectors piece!

This gun was an estate gun that I have had in my collection for many years - the famil told me this was gun that H.Koon used to show his work, as the Silver butt cap in the 
grip was never engraved. These were built to order, so if it was built for a customer, it would have went out with an initial on the cap - this one is blank.
