JP Sauer and Sohns K98 8x57 Nazi Marked Matching Numbers Script CE 1941

This is an excellent example of a JP Sauer K98 Rifle issued to the Nazi military in 1941. The gun is all matching, including the stock, and has the proper waffen military proofs. The chamber is dated 1941 and has a script "CE" Sauer factory code. The gun has retained much of its original finish, but there is spotty wear and thinning on the barrel and barrel bands and minor thinning on the receiver. The stock is very nice with minor dings and scratches throughout. The gun comes with an original front sight hood, cleaning rod, and sling. The bore is minty.

Sourced from the collection of a well known local historian and collector, this weapon has been well maintained and cared for.
