Browning Citori Gran Lightning Grade VI. New, never fired, in matching box with all factory components intact including documentation, choke tubes and snap caps.

2001 Manufacture, non-catalog model. 210 examples of this shotgun were produced specifically for Scheel's. These were outfitted with Grade VI wood and a Schnabel forend. Neither aspect was available on a factory cataloged Gran Lightning.


Receivers were sent to Baron Technologies for deep relief engraving of a single Pheasant on each side and then plated. 150 examples were plated with only 24k gold for a single color, while 60 examples were "tri-colored" and plated with 24k Gold, Silver and Copper. I can produce documentation stating these details although neither source can be sure that there were even this many produced.

You will not find this model in any value guide and will probably never speak to anyone who has even seen one of these. Very little information is available on these because of the scarcity. This is a piece for the serious Browning collector, but could just as easily be taken out on your next hunt.
