Two Swedish model 1896 Mauser rifles. (1) All matching numbers, including receiver, all bolt parts, butt plate, magazine floor plate and even barrel bands. Muzzle is threaded and has metal screw-on thread protector in place. Has what appears to be original leather sling. Made by Carl Gustafs in 1916. Asking $695. (2) Another, marked 1917, all matching. I am covinced this rifle is an original model 1896 sniper rifle, Several factors point to this probability: turned down bolt handle, bore diameter on stock disc, (6.46/6.51), home made scope mount screw pattern matches original scope mount screw pattern, factory notched stock to allow standard scope mount, and no "thumb" notch on left side of receiver for use when reloading from stripper clip. Has Weaver K-8 scope adjustable from 50 feet to 1,000 yards, worth $150 by itself. Can discuss over land line phone call. (Brent,REDACTED) asking $1095. Both rifles chambered for standard 6.5x55 Swedish cartridge.
Also have original bayonet and scabbard for these rifles and one original Swedish marked box of 15 6.5 cartridges available with or without rifles.
