The Glock 26 is highly regarded for concealed carry use. It's larger magazine capacity, top-tier reliability, and compact size makes it highly respected and desired for personal protection. While it has uses 10 round magazines, it is capable with 12, 15, 17, and even 33 round magazines.
For the 5th Generation, finger grooves were removed to better fit more shooters hands. Improved durability with a new finish, improved accuracy, and a flared magazine well are also improvements made over the previous generations.
