Using the Licensed Kalashnikov AK blueprints, Pioneer Arms AK-style firearms are true to the original design. The Sporter series of AK rifles feature a 16.3” barrel with 14x1LH thread pitch, a forged front trunnion, Russian Pattern furniture compatibility, an enhanced safety selector, and a traditional AK optics side rail. This Model, POL-AK-S-FT-W is chambered in 7.62x39 and comes with beautiful hand-rubbed oil-based varnished Polish laminated wood handguards complete with palm swells for additional grip.
