Product Description
Own the pocket pistol of a suspected german agent.
Mann Pistol of 1920/1921 Serial No. 91**-** Caliber 6.35 (25acp) Matching Numbers/ Excellent Condtion. The heirs of the estate relate the following: In the early 1940s agents of the FBI in New York City, based on certain information concerning a german agent raided the suspects apartment, he was gone but his belognings remained. During a search of the apartment an agent uncovered this pistol. The pistol in the original box with original manual written in only german. The agent that discovered the pistol asked to keep the pistol and in the 1940s he was allowed to keep the pistol.
Did it belong to a German agent? The manual is only in german, Firearms imported in the 30s and 40s would have certainly been in english. Could it be a WWII bring back... very doubtful with box and manual perhaps it did belong to a German agent?? One of the heirs had the manual translated in the 1950s the paper and type of ink used in this translation all line up with the story we will let the buyer make the decision but this is the story related to us.
