All of the components are chosen carefully to ensure they meet Hornady's high standards for excellence. Hornady's swaged high antimony lead shot with the Versatite wad delivers supreme accuracy and consistent shot patterns without special chokes or gun modification. Each cartridge is loaded to ensure optimal pressure, velocity and consistency from lot to lot. Like the powder, each primer is carefully matched to individual loads, and specifically selected for it's ability to quickly, completely, and reliably ignite the powder charge. American Gunner 12 Gauge Reduced Recoil is able to offer less recoil while still being optimized to cycle in most semi-automatic shotguns.
