You are bidding on a Charles Daly 30" 12 gauge over and under shotgun, chambered in 2 3/4".  As you have noted, the market on these guns is moving up each month and the inventory of available guns is decreasing.  Both the wood and the metal are in good used condition, with normal usage and storage marks you would expect from a gun this age.  The gun is extremely tight and well-fitting.  The top lever is well to the right of center, indicating extremely light.  The original recoil pad shows little to no wear.  The photos reveal the condition of the gun.  The finish of the gun created some glare, so I took them from several angles. The photos are the best description of the gun.  The barrels are marked + (Full) on the top barrel and ++- (Improved Modified) on the bottom.  The gun has a slide safety button for barrel selection and safety operation. This gun was made for Charles Daly by B. C. Miroku in Kochi, Japan.  This is the same manufacturer of the much more expensive Browning models. This is a good solid gun, with matching serial numbers on each of the three components of the gun.  Notice the attention to detail and craftsmanship in a gun manufactured prior to 1976.  From the gold trigger, the metal engraving, and the high-quality wood, it is apparent that this is a shotgun to be enjoyed for many years to come.  The photos reveal normal visible signs of use.  Please view the photos as they are the best description of this gun.  This firearm must ship to your FFL dealer. The buyer pays $55 for shipping to the lower 48 states. Insurance is available and will be added to the shipping costs.
