Rock River Arms (RRA) from circa 2005 by the Larson brothers after they left Les Baer...after following him there from Springfield Arms Custom Shop (SACS.)  At that time, things were "buyers choice".  Pick your gun, checkering, sights, controls, finish, etc.  Lead time was about a year. Probably less than 1000 Elite Commandos made.  Most of RRA production back in that period was target sights geared towards bullseye.

30 LPI checkering.  Novak night sights.  Single sided safety. 

Tight light a Les Baer, but fit and finish and attention to detail is far superior.  Satin polished blue and checkering reminiscent of "Pete Single" checkering are beautiful.  Gun is accurate as can be.  Super classy defensive/carry 1911 with superb accuracy.
