PRICE REDUCTION!!

CONSIGNMENT: It is difficult to categorize this rifle because of its configuration. The serial number tells us that it was manufactured in May or June of 1943. The barrel date is September 1943. The stock appears to be original but of a higher gloss finish than the normal Garand battle rifle. Maybe a parade or display rifle or even some past collectors pride and joy? When you look at the pictures you will see the points I have made so you can judge for yourself.

This is a very interesting rifle. It is a Springfield M1 Garand and is fully operational. The barrel is stamped 2-S-A-9-43 indicating that the barrel was manufactured in September 1943. The stock is in excellent condition and also gives us a clue as to its past life. There are some points on the stock that show points of contact with hands. These points of contact are in the areas where the rifle may have been touched as it was used in drills or some type of rifle routine. Some points on the barrel have been chromed, again like a lot of drill or parade rifles. It comes with a chromed bayonet that is 21 inches long and is stamped US and dated 1906. As you can see in the pictures it fits the rifle. The bayonet has a white scabbard that locks the bayonet in the scabbard when not in use.

It would be very difficult to find another one like this considering the bayonet and its overall condition. This would be a great addition to someone's collection.
