The Marlin 336W lever-action rifle is ideal for hunting deer, hog or blackbear at close to medium range or for defending yourself against potential threats in the back country. The 336W has a blue steel barrel and receiver and a pistol grip, hardwood stock. The 20 inch barrel has micro-groove rifling and delivers optimum accuracy with jacketed hunting bullets. The full length magazine holds  six rounds of .30–30 Winchester ammo. This rifle shows some indication of prior use consisting mainly of rub marks on the metal and light scuffs to the wooden components. Rifle features features a cross bolt safety, hammer extension for use with a scope, drilled and tapped receiver, sharp checkering, Buckhorn sight and leather wrapped action lever. At one point it had a front sight hood but that is no longer installed. This is a excellent choice for the hunter or casual shooter.
