FS: A COLT PYTHON 21/2" barrel in excellent unfired condition. I have listed it as being in unfired condition simply because I didn't purchase it new in 1981. It comes with the factory, numbered to the gun, box, and paperwork. The box has seen better days but it is all there. The best way to describe this Colt is for you to look at the pictures. It was manufactured forty years ago but looks like a new revolver. The Colt Deep Blue finish is in excellent condition free of scratches or cylinder turn lines. Collector quality Colt Pythons are pricey especially ones with 2 1/2" barrels but they are a good investment and have been steadily increasing in value.

I ship everywhere it is legal for me to ship to but that does not include California! I no longer ship to California even if the firearm is on their "allowed" list. It's not worth the time required to meet California's unrealistic demands.

It was first introduced in 1955, the same year as Smith & Wesson's M29 .44 Magnum. The Colt Python is intended for the premium revolver market segment.
