This Sig Sauer P239 is a lock-breach, magazine-fed, semi-automatic handgun chambered in .40 caliber and was first introduced in the mid-90s and discontinued in 2018. It utilizes single stack, phosphate-coated magazines and three are included with this pistol. This particular pistol was a police trade in and has wear consistent with carry and use which is cosmetic only. It is also fitted with Hogue rubber finger groove grips and night sights however the sights are faint and will need to be replaced. While somewhat heavier than the current crop of polymer frame pistols, this pistol is still managable and has lots of service life left.
