These model 50 rifles were made in Belgium with an FN Model 98 Mauser action and a 22-inch chrome-lined barrel courtesy of High Standard and were in production in the 50’s.  This one I think was manufactured in 1951.  Date code is 583.95.  I am having a hard time getting a definitive answer.

This one is chambered in .270 and is in excellent condition.  The bore is nice and shiny.  These are very accurate rifles.  Comes with a nice Boyt leather sling.  Rifle has iron sights and has an unknown manufacture’s two piece scope mount installed.
