Nice pre WW2  5 digit 46XXX June/July 1940  M1 Garand  with 12-1944 Springfield barrel which has a bright bore.  Possibly rebarreld later in war due to extensive usage early war?   All USGI Springfield.

Shiny rifling and bore.  Stock is GI black walnut.
