Stripped and Professionally High Polished to a near Mirror Shine
Industrial TiN (Titanium Nitride Coating) This coating is the same used on many HIgh friction/ wear components throughout the world. Most commonly Drill Bits, and is why most have a Golden color to them. Originally if you wanted a "Gold" firearm you would need to polish to the same finish then have them plated with 24K Gold, this was beautiful but extremely expensive. They also have a huge negative, if it was a display only Firearm like most 24K Plated Firearms are it wouldn't be an Issue. BUT if you were to want to use it, the gold plating has to be applied so thick that in many instances it the firearm wouldn't function due to the build up of gold. They also scratch extremely easily. The TiN Coating while not invincible is by far a more resilient coating while being a fraction of the thickness of a traditional 24k gold coating. This allows you to have a beautiful Mirror gold finish as well as being able to bring it to the range and shoot it as you normally would!
