This rifle is essentially a copy of the famous Steyr AUG. Although there is some parts interchangeability with the original AUG, the rifle is not a true clone. The 556’s working system features an M16-style bolt release. The magazines it uses are similar to but not identical or interchangeable with Steyr magazines. Still, the STG-556 does feature many similarities to the Austrian rifle it is based on, such as having a quick-change barrel option and the ability to change which side the weapon ejects on by changing the bolt out for a right or left bolt respectively. The rifle shown is in like new in box condition and has never been fired since leaving the factory. It is equipped with a 9” picatinny rail for mounting an optic. The STG-556 coms with its original box, an operator’s manual, two 10-round magazines, and two 30-round magazines.
