You are bidding on a FULLY TRANSFERABLE to individuals (where state law permits) AOW. This is your chance to own one of the best designed legal "sawed off" AOWs that uses shotshells. Not considered a shotgun, but uses 12ga shotgun shells. ONLY 7.5 inch barrel and 17 inches long overall. If this isn't the ultimate factory production aow with amazing capabilities, what is ? Seems in the early 2000 many manufactures started making their versions of AOWs that fired 12ga shotshell. There wasn't any main stream producers like Remington, Ithaca, Beretta, H&K, Mossberg that had a super short barrel aows in there production. There were short barrel shotguns of course, with usually a barrel length cut off around 14 inches. Then considering a $200 stamp on short barreled shotguns and the difference in length of only 4 inches from the legal 18 inches on a title 1 firearm. Your really had to consider was it really worth it all the extra money for only a 4 inch barrel reduction. Then Remington had their 870 LE MCS breacher shotgun came out with a 10 inch barrel in MCS pack. Mossberg / Maverick arms some years ago took it to the extreme with their compact cruiser line with commercially built aows with a contoured 7.5 inch barrel. Unlike all the other aftermarket builders, Mossberg / Maverick designed and used contoured mini barrels. Setting the market apart from the aows that just had a wild sawed off 7.5 inch barrel. The Mossberg design has what looks like an actual choke like contour at the end of the super short barrel, that I would guess helps tame the pattern better than a barn side, when the barrel is so tiny. These are built IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICAN, and include a full factory warranty. The Compact Cruiser line are NO LONGER MADE BY MOSSBERG, and that information came directly from Mossberg. As with most really unique firearms as time passes, if you didn't buy one, then get set to pay whatever it takes in the future as they dry up. The model your bidding on is the ATI upgraded version with the upgrades from the stock base model version. Pre installed from the factory is the rail and shell carrying system. Plenty of room to mount your optic, laser, or sight on top. Yes, this AOW is legal in many state and it might surprise you. States that prohibit many NFA weapons actually allow AOWs, likely because that definition encompasses a very board range of devices from H&K briefcases, NAA wallets, cane and knife guns etc. As for it being a NFA, it is, but only requires a Form 4 $5 stamp. The paperwork has a wait, but normally depending on your state law if you can buy a handgun, you can buy this. Come join the NFA club and add a stamp to your collection. Its easy choice for a serious collector or shooter.
